After that show's run, he was cast by Joss Whedon in his Victorian sci-fi series "The Nevers" (HBO, 2020- ) as the criminal The Beggar King. After starring with Rupert Grint in "Sick Note" (Sky One, 2017-18), he joined the cast of the action television series "Into the Badlands" (AMC, 2015-19) playing a compatriot of Daniel Wu's Sunny. On the big screen, he joined Vince Vaughn and Dave Franco in "Unfinished Business" (2015). He also made a memorable guest appearance on the sci-fi classic "Doctor Who" (BBC, 2005- ) playing Santa Claus. He starred with Olivia Colman in the comedy "Mr. Wright, Pegg, and Frost joined together for doomsday comedy "The World's End" (2013). He returned to the character again in the sequel "The Huntsman: Winter's War" (2016). He later joined Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth in the fantasy epic "Snow White and the Huntsman" (2012) as the dwarf Nion. He teamed with Pegg once more for the stoner alien comedy "Paul" (2011) based on a script by the duo. Richard Curtis cast the actor with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Bill Nighy in "Pirate Radio" (2009). On television, he appeared in the sketch comedy show "Man Stroke Woman" (BBC Three, 2005) and starred in the comedy "Hyperdrive" (BBC Two, 2006-07). After appearing in the musical "Kinky Boots" (2005), he reteamed with Wright and Pegg for the comedy "Hot Fuzz" (2007). The film quickly developed a following, putting Frost and his friends in demand. He joined his friend onscreen again in the Wright directed zombie movie "Shaun of the Dead" (2004). Pegg and Jessica Hynes created a part for Frost in their sitcom "Spaced" (Channel 4, 1999-2001). Born in Dagenham, England, he met Pegg when the pair were working in London and they became roommates. Comedian Nick Frost parlayed his friendships with fellow actor Simon Pegg and director Edgar Wright into a successful film career.
